About ADD/ADHD

Many children and adults with a learning disability are also challenged by an attention deficit disorder (ADD). An attention disorder affects a person's ability to focus attention and sustain concentration. Hyperactivity may or may not be present (ADHD).

It is estimated that about 40% of people with ADD or ADHD also have a learning disability.

CACLD has an ongoing commitment to provide information and support for this population.
